Summary

Arnoldo will discuss the greatest lessons he has learned litigating and trying police brutality cases, sharing tips and tricks he has learned along the way. In the wake of George Floyd’s death, civil rights practitioners have been instrumental in seeking police reform. Michael will discuss key police abuse reform bills currently being considered in California and nationwide, and leveraging meaningful reforms one case at a time. Carol will discuss the class action filed during the recent protests on behalf of Black Lives Matter against the LAPD alleging excessive force and civil rights violations.
