Summary

In this webinar the speakers will address insurance issues relating to coverage for possible insurance claims related to the coronavirus. Cohen and Glovsky will address the types of policies that might cover these claims and the legal issues surrounding the relevant coverage provisions and exclusions. The topics will include commercial property insurance, coverage for business interruption, losses caused by direct physical loss of or damage to property, restoration periods, “civil authority” coverage, and exclusions for viruses. Cohen and Glovsky also will address how the rules of construction and interpretation for insurance contracts will apply to these contract provisions.
